Our focus areas for\u00a02024 include the below: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Appointed Andrew Mundell as the Group Executive for\u00a0Supply Chain.<\/li>\n<li>Succession planning for the Group, focusing on key\u00a0digital and data skills.<\/li>\n<li>Succession planning for longstanding Board members and our Exco. <\/li>\n<li>Reviewed the Board composition and was comfortable with the balance between independent non-executive directors, non-executive directors and executive directors. <\/li>\n<li>Nominated the appointment of William Mzimba as an independent non-executive director and member of the Social and Ethics Committee. <\/li>\n<li>Considered the appropriate composition and rotation of Board members and the composition of various Board Committees. <\/li>\n<li>Considered leadership structures by evaluating a\u00a0schedule of subsidiary boards and directors. <\/li>\n<li>Evaluated the Board\u2019s performance and effectiveness (<a href=\"https:\/\/famousbrands.co.za\/iar2024\/governing-for-value-creation\/our-corporate-governance-approach\/#Performance_evaluations\" class=\"link\">read more<\/a>). <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Priorities for\u00a02025<\/h2>\n<p>Our focus areas for 2025 include succession planning for\u00a0the Group at Board and executive management level.  <\/p>\n<p>The Committee is satisfied that it has fulfilled its responsibilities in accordance with its terms of reference for the financial year.
